Introduction to Griffiths, Castle & Lawlor Goyette John R. Griffiths (1934-2002) was one of the architects of the Special Master process and the founder of our firm. His extraordinary skill placed him in great demand throughout California and the Western United States. Thomas F. Castle became a fulltime Special Master and Mediator in 1996 after twenty years of practicing law in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anne M. Lawlor Goyette has worked as a fulltime Special Master and Mediator specializing in the resolution of complex disputes since 1998. Anne is a member of the California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Peter H.
